Breaking assignments of the enemy

Breaking assignments of the enemy – Daily Word - August 21- 2018

The other night we had an experience with a tornado. It formed and came up from the south running about 9 miles on the ground when it was right cross the road from us. As we began to pray and take authority over this force of nature it pulled up into the air. Several tails swung down as it tried to reform. Our property was right there and we did not have anything to fight this force with but the name of Jesus. In case you have forgotten it is Satan who was sent to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10). I can remember growing up I watched as my dad stand between the tornado and storms and the tent which we held revivals in across Oklahoma and Texas. I remember seeing him stretch his hand toward the storm and command it to go around. This happened more than once I watched storms obey the name of Jesus and go around. As we prayed against the tornado it went up, tried to reform and then fell apart as it moved on. Some would say it just happened on its own, maybe but I believe the name above all names just like on the ragging Sea of Galilee had to calm and be no more.

When it was all over up in the night the Lord began to speak to me. He said “if no one stands against the assignments of the devil they will be carried out. They can be canceled by taking authority in my name”. Just like speaking something into existence we can also cancel assignments against us by using the name of Jesus.

You can cancel the assignments of the enemy by activating your authority in the name of Jesus! Any assignment, no matter what it is, can be done this way. Speak in authority and say “Satan I cancel the assignment you have against my ____________ in the name of Jesus! Put in the blank what you need to, marriage, finances, healing, whatever it is. Command the assault to fall to the ground and to be successful no more in Jesus name!

1 John 3:8 ….For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11-13 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

You have the power. Jesus said, “I give you power over all the power of the enemy.” Luke 10:19. If you don’t use it you will just take whatever is dished out. Mark 4:39. Walk in the Kingdom and learn to confront what is around you.
