But God!

Daily Word - 09.04.19 - Pastor Sheliah

🔹BUT GOD INTENDED IT ALL FOR GOOD When Joseph’s brothers came to him for provision for their families, after they had sold him into slavery and lied to their father that he was dead.

Joseph’s words to them were full of grace: “Don’t be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? You intended to harm me, BUT GOD INTENDED IT ALL FOR GOOD!.

He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.” (Genesis.50:20-21)

🔹BUT GOD DID NOT DELIVER HIM When Saul wanted to take David’s life over jealousy for the throne of Israel: “Saul sought him every day, BUT GOD DID NOT DELIVER DAVID INTO SAUL’S HAND.” (1Samuel.23:14)

Could you even begin to count the times that your Loving Heavenly Father has reached out and intervened on your behalf? Over and again we read *BUT GOD!*

Even though you may have been unaware of the danger surrounding you, or the enemy’s schemes to thwart the purposes of God in your life – BUT GOD – has rescued you from harm!

🔹BUT GOD – IN CHRIST – HAS RESCUED YOU! ~ In our totally helpless condition – everything has been provided for us IN CHRIST!

He didn’t save us because we were good! We were put on friendly terms with God by the SACRIFICIAL DEATH OF HIS SON!

“Now that we’re at our best (because of Christ) – just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of HIS RESURRECTION LIFE!”

🔹BUT NOW that we have actually received this amazing relationship with God, we sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah!

“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.

🔹”BUT GOD showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us … And since WE HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHT IN GOD’S SIGHT by THE BLOOD OF CHRIST – He will certainly save us from all condemnation.”

“Because our relationship with God was restored BY THE DEATH OF HIS SON – while we were still His enemies – we will certainly be saved through the LIFE OF HIS SON.

“So now we can rejoice in our wonderful NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD – BECAUSE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST has made us SONS OF GOD!” (Romans.5:6,8,11; Rom.8:9)
