“But God, I don’t know how!”

How many times have we said that very line to God? If you haven’t just give it awhile and you will. There are many times God has asked me to do something that I had no clue how to do. And since I had no clue on how to do it I would have to lean on Him for direction and ability. I believe that He loves to do this just to watch us lean on Him.

I remember when back when the move of God hit our church. We had alters filled with young people! God was moving on them in a mighty way. My son Nathan mentioned to me that he wanted to homeschool. He had come to a point of wanting to be in a better environment than the one at the public school. I told him “no” that he needed to be an example to the kids at the public school and left it at that. Well God didn’t agree with me. He spoke firmly and loudly. He said “train them up within the camp. Do not send them out until they are ready.” So I said we can do homeschool. Before I knew it we had 32 kids all wanting to be a part of some kind of “homeschool” thru the church. Then I started researching. I found out that we couldn’t be a homeschool group with that many kids. We would have to be a Christian Academy. I hadn’t a clue on how to do that! I had to learn and fast! I stated to the Lord that I didn’t know how to do this. You know what He said to me? It made me feel real good. He said “I know you don’t know how to do it. That is why I want you to do it. This way I get all the Glory for it!” God had full control on what we did. When we resigned the Christian Academy was running 72 from K-12 and a waiting list to get in. God had used me, it was His intelligence that brought it all about, not mine! He did it all! I didn’t have a clue but God did!

When God asks you to do something that you do not have knowledge on how to do it, trust Him. He knows what He is doing!
