Confess with your mouth

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Why are we to confess with our mouth? The mouth is a portal or opening thru which the heart and mind communicate thru. It is also a portal or opening that spirits as well as the Holy Spirit passes thru. When one goes thru deliverance the demonic spirit will move up thru the body and generally will pass out of the mouth either in a rush of wind or in the form of vomit. I believe this is why being filled with the Holy Spirit is so important as it fills a person their tongue will began to move and speak a language that is not known by the person being filled. They have given God complete control of their mouth at that point. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is accepting the comforter that Jesus has provided for us. We need to be filled with Jesus until we are over flowing with his likeness! “Likeness - Jesus, no likeness - no Jesus”. He will be evident in your life.

Matt 12:34 ....For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

So whatever you are full of that is what will spill out.

Psalms 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!
