Covering our families

I had a dream. In it there was a young lady about the age of 13. I watched her in all her youthful beauty. The girl's grandmother walked up and asked me if I had seen how much she had grown. The grandmother held a photo out for me to see and as I looked I noticed the girl had on a T-shirt but the shirt only coverd her shoulders and down to her arm pits. The rest of her body was exposed but covered in a sheer white see thru fabric. I could see she was exposed. I could feel how proud the grandmother was at how much the girl had grown. I could feel the girl had no covering literally as well as spiritually. All of a sudden the girl was playing with a friend who happened to be a boy. They both walked into separate dressing rooms and began to try on clothes. They were trying to find out who they were. Who they were to be in this life. They had not had anyone to set an example for them to follow. With out a covering they are left to be tossed and torn trying on this outfit and the other outfit. As parents it is our biblical Godly duty to teach them and train them up in the way they should go. Teach them how to stand when things are tough. How to make Godly choices in life. How to hear God when he speaks and how to know it is God who is speaking.

( Prov. 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.)

In the dream after trying on clothes the boy and girl were standing on what appeared to be a rock. The rock began to move causing them to start to loose balance. Pieces of the rock began to crumble and fall off. There was no rock solid foundation for them to stand on. Their parents had been so busy trying to keep from drowning themselves they had neglected training their children placing biblical foundations under their feet. We have got to train our children in the values and standards set by God or we will loose our generations to come. When we don't cover our children spiritually we open them up to be influenced by the world of which we are suppose to be separated from. The world, the public school system, and our children's friends are not going to build these foundations in our children for us. If we do not train and cover them they will become what ever influences them the most outside of you.

I Corinthians 6:17 says, Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you,

God has placed you as watchman and trainer over your children. They are a blank slate/blank page waiting to be written upon. You are in charge of what is written upon their minds and hearts. I want to encourage you to step up to your God given right and cover the little ones in your life. If you do not, who will.

I pray blessings over you and your children. My the covering and blessings that God gives His children be yours. ❤️
