Dealing with the root cause

Have you ever felt stuck? It's like no matter what you do, how hard you pray or even fast, you don't move forward. Something seems blocked. Frustration starts setting in to your mind, then your heart starts joining your mind. Nothing seems to open up spiritually. That's when it is time to take inventory. What is causing the block. Many times or I guess I should say most of the time it is something that needs to be dug up and removed. God has brought you to a place where new growth is trying to unfold yet there are old roots to a former situation that must be removed. Removal must take place for this growth in your spirit to take place. It can be a habit that isn't allowed when you walk in this deeper spiritual level. It can be an un-forgiveness that may have seemed a nonevent until you wanted to walk in the holy of holies. It is anything that God keeps pointing at within your life. If you want to go deeper, don't ignore it. You can not advance with old garments hanging on your spirit man. Sacrifice them. Pull them off, dig up the root and burn it on the alter.

So reading this you may say, "oh I already gave all of myself when I received salvation". Yes you did. But that is not an automatic to access the spiritual level that is calling you. Paul said, "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."2 CORINTHIANS 3:18.

God never intended for us to remain where we first encountered Him. Every step of obedience, every season of surrender, and every moment spent in His presence draws us deeper into His heart. The Christian life is not meant to be stagnant—it is a continual journey from glory to glory. As we grow God will show us things in our lives that must be dealt with. The quicker we remove it the quicker we can step into that glory that He is waiting to share with you.

The phrase “from glory to glory” speaks of a continual work of transformation. As we behold Christ—not merely glance at Him, but fix our hearts and lives upon Him—the Holy Spirit changes us. The more time we spend in His presence, the more His character is formed within us. Fear gives way to faith. Weakness becomes strength. Our love deepens, our vision becomes clearer, and our desire for Him grows stronger.

I want to go where He is leading! I want to function in the level available for me!

God is always inviting us deeper. There is always another level of intimacy, another measure of His presence, another revelation of His goodness. Yesterday’s encounter was wonderful, but today’s invitation is to come closer still.

Don’t settle for yesterday’s glory. Press into His presence today. The same Spirit who transformed Moses, empowered the apostles, and filled the early church is still at work in every believer. As you behold Jesus, He is faithfully leading you from glory to glory until His image is fully reflected in your life.

Let's pray;

Father, thank You for never leaving me where I am. Draw me deeper into Your presence each day. Remove anything that hinders me from seeing You clearly, and transform me by Your Spirit from glory to glory until I am walking where you are leading me. Show me what needs to be removed within. Transform me.Amen.
