disempower your disappointments!

Updated: Sep 21, 2018

🔹Daily Word -Aug.04.2018. Pastor Sheliah 🔹

➖Instead of seeing things negatively, recognize that INSTEAD – God is turning all those things around for His glory – and it will be in your favor – because that is His plan to bless you and give you His blessings!

“INSTEAD of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity … and everlasting joy will be yours.” (Is.61:7) That has been His plan all along – not to punish or defeat you – but to show Himself mighty on your behalf! (Psalm.68:28)

Perhaps you have experienced betrayal, hurt, let-down … As surely as the sun rises and sets – you will face these situations! Life is NOT about avoiding unpleasant situations – IT IS about making a profit from them! What if every potentially damaging situation was actually a short-cut to an amazing experience of Jesus?

Instead of being “wounded” – we would become Christ-like! Because of His blood & sacrifice – we don’t have a reason to be “wounded” – We have a right to be healed! (He was wounded that we might be healed!)

Take your eyes off of the negative and you will DISEMPOWER it. If you are wounded and offended, allow Holy Spirit to give you His peace that passes understanding and choose to take no offense for the sake of the Gospel. (2Corinthians.6:3)

You have the choice – and you can live in the NEW NATURE – “Christ in you is the HOPE OF GLORY!” (Colossians.1:27)

Whatever you focus on – you give power to! INSTEAD of the negative – Believe and receive His promises to you! Empower God’s blessings and favor to be released in your life and through you to others! ~ Shelia Hart Artt.

P.S. 🔹Isaiah.61:1-7 🔹“He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

“He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come…

“To all who mourn … He gives a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.

“In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks … planted for His glory. You will be called priests of the Lord, Ministers of our God.

“You will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity … and everlasting joy will be yours.”
