“Affecting the World Around Us”
One night as I slept I had a dream. In this dream I saw Riddick. He is an outlaw/warrior who has had is vision changed and can only see in the dark. Of course it is a fictional movie and a little on the rough side. In the dream as I saw him I heard the Lord say “just like Riddick you must learn to see in the dark”. We must learn to distinguish WHO is happening.
We were in Nicaragua one time and a flood of people came forward for
prayer. As the group began laying hands on the people praying for them some of the people fell out in the floor. You had those who were manifesting demonically and those reacting under the presence of God. As some of the youth with us asked me what was happening to one lady I stepped up to discern what was going on. She was demonic and of course needed to be set free. So I told the youth, she has a demon and we will cast it out, and we did. Then another lady fell down jerking. They asked if she also had a demon. I leaned over to discern what was going on. I stood up and said “ no she is experiencing the power of Jesus”. I told them you have to be able to discern. “Demon cast it out, But if it is Jesus leave it alone”.
As we advance in the Kingdom of God bringing freedom to those in bondage we must learn to see and discern what the situation is and who is behind what. Wisdom is key. We must walk in the world and affect the area around us with Jesus!
As a Christian you have the ability to release the Kingdom of God anywhere that you are.
What are you releasing as you walk about? Don’t let it be stress, anger, and negativity. Make sure you have enough Jesus in you to share with others!
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 10:7-8(NIV)
7 As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
Micah 6:8 (NIV)
8 ...And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Let’s release Jesus on the world of darkness! Instead of running from the devil let’s make him run from us!
