“Glory Barn culture"

And the *Lord * said, “My presence *will go with you, * and I will give you rest.” *

And Moses * said to him, “If your presence does not go * with us, * do not take us up from here. * For how will it be known then that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not by your going with us, so that we will be distinguished, I and your people, from all the people who are on the face of the earth?” *

Prior to this classic passage God had just told Moses that He (God) would send His angel before them as they go up into the land, but He Himself (YHWH) would not go. This upset Moses tremendously, so he argued with God until God agreed to personally go with them on this journey. Moses’ argument was that it was His presence that distinguishes us from all the other people groups on earth. Wow! We are to be a people defined by His presence. What a Novel idea.🤔 The culture at Glory Barn is built on the premise that we are to be defined by His presence. It is His presence that distinguishes us from all the other religious encampments on earth. We don’t even try to function under modern church paradigms we have a more simple (and elegant) kingdom approach. If you don’t have His presence in the the house your missing your divine assignment. If you have it protect it for all it’s worth. His presence becomes the incubator for the prophets. It is the atmosphere of heaven. It becomes our responsibility to host his presence corporately. This isn’t church as usual and it is not for the faint of heart. It is when you make God your soul priority do you get to indulge in practicing His presence. For a church to do this corporately is rare indeed. To many times we are already locked it our church programs to accommodate God’s heavy manifest presence on the house. It will reck your religious atmosphere that you have to have to function in modern church paradigm. His presence will become an incubator for eagles to flourish. What is sad is that some will be upset by my simply talking about God’s presence. But like Harley Davidson, “If I have to explain it to you, you wouldn’t understand.” Til next time God bless and happy hunting.
