2 “Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity † thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while † I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked. John 5:2-9

Today as in the days when Jesus walked the earth, there is power to heal! We don’t have to wait for an angel to stir the water, as he did at the pool of Bethesda. We have access to the healing power of Jesus at all times. Yes, sometimes it is easier to receive than other times, but if you are standing in faith for healing don’t give up! Jesus wants to provide healing to those who believe. Sometimes it is instant, sometimes he may tell you what to do to bring healing to your body. Listen to Him if he tells you to do something. He told one man to go dip In the water, and to another he said “your faith has made you whole”. If it hasn’t come yet and it’s been awhile, keep praying, keep believing. He bore his stripes to make us whole. I don’t know anyone who can tell you the whys of the way it happens this way or that, but I can tell you he paid for it. Start thanking him by faith for healing. Keep a right heart and be patient. Over the years of watching God heal people, it never has been one set way. He is God and He does as He pleases. Psalms 115:3

Let’s keep believing! God is pouring out more and more of His presence upon those that seek Him! It is time for miracles! If we never step out, we will never see it happen!
