God is Spirit

"God is Spirit, and the people who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24

God is spirit. What does that mean to you? For some that must be somewhat disappointing. As If He is spirit then that some how delegitimizes His reality. Understand, all things visible

were made by what is invisible. (Heb. 11:3). If God is spirit, then the only way to know Him is by the spirit.

It is by virtue that He is spirit that He can be everywhere at the same time. By virtue that He is spirit natural laws do not apply. He cannot age. He cannot die. The word spirit is taken from the Greek word pneuma, which is more akin to breath or breathe. This is how the power of His life is inside of you. When His spirit is inside you, you are a God Breathed Man. Remember in all your theology that God is spirit and that Spirit is life.
