“God wants a relationship with you”....
Sitting in a place where you can not feel God and you are not encouraged to try to feel Him was not God’s plan for you or anyone else for that matter. Your Father wants you to know Him. He wants you to spend sometime with Him.
Many times, like the children of Israel, we don’t want to deal with God. We would rather the pastor deal with Him then feed us a watered down version so we don’t feel uncomfortable being in the presence of a “Holy God”. Exodus 20:19 And they said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen. But don’t let God speak directly to us, or we will die.
God’s plan from the very beginning was to “commune with man”. Sin separated us, but when we receive Jesus as Lord of our lives we have access to be in the presence of God almighty with out dying. It is the most wonderful feeling to be in His presence! Nothing on earth can compare! Just being in His presence can change your life. It will cause depression to leave, it will heal anything inside of you that if broken. Being in His presence causes a joy of life, it will give you hope where there is none. In His presence there is power to overcome addictions of any kind!
Isn’t it time for you to invite Jesus to just come and commune with you? Let Him show you how ashes can become beautiful.
Isaiah 61:3 give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
