It’s seemed like midnight

Daily Word - Dec. 17, 2018

, dark as could be

When Satan had come for me

I had not known Christ until right before,

I heard Him knocking at my door

And I opened it up and said “come in my Lord”

He washed me clean and dried my tears

Removed my stains and restored my years

So when Satan came looking for me

He couldn’t find me for I was hiding

At the foot of the tree

where Jesus had died for me

I was hid beneath the blood and grime

and tears That flowed down the tree

He Covered me up defending me

Christ told Satan “ now you see you can’t have her she belongs to me!”
