Knowing His Paths -

Daily Word August 24, 2018

Psalm 78:1-4

1 My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth.

2 I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old—

3 things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us.

4 We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation

the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.

I believe it is our responsibility to make sure our children know the paths of God. We have a rich heritage to share and to pass to the next generation. There are things my grandchildren will not know unless I tell them. Things like what it is like to have an angel manifest in a church service invisible to the fleshly eye but real enough that if anyone tried to step where it was the person was knocked to the floor. We had young people walking up to the angel and fall flat on their backside. Anyone who touched him became so drunk in the spirit they couldn’t walk straight. I have only seen a small portion of what God can do. There are ancestral paths that we can teach to our children, and hopefully make their path to walking in all God has a shorter way.

Share your experiences in God! Rejoice in all that He has done! The nuggets God has given you over your lifetime need to be shared. How can they know unless we tell them?
