“Let us go into the house of the Lord”

Daily Word - Sept. 5, 2019 🌷

Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”

I can remember playing that song “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord” on a Hammond organ underneath my dad’s big vinyl tent with the Leslie speaker cranking it out. I didn’t fully understand the words to that song back then. There was a lot laid at my feet available for me to pick up and walk in. In my case and I am sure in your case when we don’t actually “get it” that God protects the seed that has been sown until such a time that we understand and those seeds have taken root and have grown into plants.

As we were blessed to hear Bobby Conner speak tonight there were nuggets he dropped that my mind didn’t comprehend. Those nuggets or seeds will not fall on bad soil if you are a God Chaser! They will set in your subconscious mind and the Holy Spirit will pull them up when you need them.

For many years I was content to just hid behind whatever instrument I happened to be playing. Yeah there were many nuggets I held but did not truly understand until God said “enough” and He turned me upside down! He brought me out of a sleep! He awakened my heart and took the blinders I had on and now I get excited just talking about Jesus!

God is in the house and we don’t want to slumber any more! There is an awakening and we want to be right in the middle of it! Then we will be glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord!
