Many prophetic words....

Daily Word - 10/2/2018

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell his dream; and he that hath my word let him speak it faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? Saith the Lord."

Jer. 23:28

This passage has so many ramifications I can't tell them all. Suffice to say that this is a word for this season. We have come to a place that so many words are spoken that so much of it has become chaff that gets blown away in the wind. When the wheat was brought in to harvest it was then "winnowed" by tossing the grain in the air with a winnowing fork and allowing the wind to carry the light weight chaff away. So much of modern prophetic feels like this. It is just light weight chaff that has tried to wrap itself around the grain of wheat.

The word of the Lord is life and its eternal. So the question, "what is the chaff to the wheat" by comparison? Mull over this and I'll get back to you.
