"I was asleep but my heart was awake. A voice! My beloved was knocking: 'Open to me, my sister, my darling, My dove, my perfect one! For my head is drenched with dew, My locks with the damp of the night.' SS 5:2
As my walk with God has gone from week to week and year to year I find the pursuit of Him to be more intense now then ever. I find myself praying for direction and that God will teach me. I do not believe we ever “arrive” and know all there is to know about Him or the Kingdom. Learning continues and if you feel you have arrived at the end of your training think again. God is vast and there is more to Him than you can fit into our limited minds.
I want to encourage you to seek Him. When the lover of your soul knocks at your door at 3 in the morning that you jump with excitement to see what He has brought to you. Write it down, when you hear Him speak consider it important enough to write down. Study over it and ask Him to show you what He wants you to see in it.
May God make you hungry for more! Hungry for His presence!
