Nobodies to somebodies

Updated: Jun 12, 2022

DAILY WORD - August 18,2018 “Hosea put it well: I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved. In the place where they yelled out, “You’re nobody!” they’re calling you “God’s living children.” (Rom.9:25)

God chooses the least likely to show Himself mighty!

It’s so exciting to know the love and power of God changing our lives; transforming us for His glory. Truly, He loves to reveal His marvelous plan through those whom the world considers as “nobodies.” Yes, what the world despises, God loves – unconditionally!

As wonderful the joy you experience is personally, there is one thing greater: Sharing that joy with others! Paul wrote,“Surely you all know that my joy comes from your being joyful and I wanted to let you know how much love I have for you.” (2Cor.2:3-4)

John wrote, “I have no greater joy than to see my ‘children’ walking in truth” (3John.4).

Believe God for the unbelievable! Love the unlovable; He has called us to be “His Beloved.” Recognize that no one is a “nobody” in God’s eyes; He has provided a way for us to become “Sons of the Living God!”

Perhaps you were once despised by others, but “Christ has made you right with God; He made you pure and holy, and He freed you from sin.”

Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only in the Lord” -1Cor.1:30,31

Wow! What Outrageous Grace He has demonstrated in your life. Now you can demonstrate that grace to others by the power of His Spirit within you! ~ Shelia Hart Artt
