Outrageous Grace

🔹OUTRAGEOUS GRACE 🔹 Dec 24, 2013 by Artt Sheliah

➖”Satan’s angel did his best to get me down … and I begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’

“So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2Corinthians.12.8-10)

Living the Outrageous Life!

Perhaps you’ve been wondering about these articles entitled, “Living the Outrageous Life!”? And how the name “Outrageous Grace Ministries” come about?

I became acutely aware on January 8, 2011, the day our daughter, Tiffani, graduated into Glory, how amazing God’s Grace was on my life!

I had played “Amazing Grace” on the piano, literally thousands of times, and had sung it over and over – and yet, I had never experienced the Amazing, Outrageous Grace of God like I did during those days. I even wondered, “How could I watch my precious 38-year-old strong, athletic daughter wither away, taken by the very thing that I had overcome – cancer?”

It was as if I, separated from my body, watched when God supplied not only enough peace and comfort to take me through those unusual days, but enough to comfort others. Yes, I noticed the stares and perplexity on others faces, wondering “how” we could do it? If only I could have told them that I was as “amazed” as they were and have them understand.

Jesus worked a might work of repentance in my life in those days! I repented of my bad attitudes and negative outlook at so many things! I tell you, from that day forward I have seen the world, almost as if through rose-colored glasses. I see God’s great love, mercy and grace in everything and to everyone.

Then came the song – OUTRAGEOUS GRACE. From then to now, whenever I see pain – it is overshadowed by His Healing Power. When I see Hate – I see His Overshadowing Love! When I see sin, I no longer see the person as a sinner, but the Outrageous Grace of God that comes to set them FREE!

Paul said it in Romans 5:8-9: “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath in Him.”

And even, when I think of my Tiffani’s death, I only see her in New Life; more alive and vivacious than she ever was in this earth! Yes, there’s a lot of “death” – but IN CHRIST – there’s a “lot more living!” There’s more Light; there’s more Vision … and through my Jesus, I can stand! And, I’m gonna’ stand!

Listen to this song entitled “Outrageous Grace” – Oh, how many hours have I soaked in the message of this incredible song of God’s extreme, over-the-top, Outrageous Grace! Allow Holy Spirit to minister healing, hope and life in your spirit!

Ours is an Outrageous way to Live – but it’s the greatest way I’ve ever lived! It’s the only way I can continue to live! You can experience it too: God’s Amazingly Outrageous Grace! ~ Shelia Hart Artt

Outrageous Grace ➖

(Lyrics by Godfrey Birtrill, as sung by Robin Mark)

There’s a lot of pain, but a lot more healing

There’s a lot of trouble, but a lot more peace

There’s a lot of hate, but a lot more loving

There’s a lot of sin, but a lot more grace

Oh, Outrageous Grace! Oh, Outrageous Grace!

Love unfurled by Heaven’s hand Oh, Outrageous Grace! Oh, Outrageous Grace!

Through my Jesus, I can stand!

There’s a lot of fear, but a lot more freedom

There’s a lot of darkness but a lot more light

There’s a lot of clouds, but a lot more vision

There’s a lot of death, but a lot more Life!

I’m gonna’ stand! I’m gonna’ stand!

We’re gonna’ stand! We’re gonna’ stand! We’re gonna stand! (By Grace)

When we have done all we can do to stand, We’re gonna’ stand!

When we have done all we can do to We rise up like an eagle, and soar on the wings of “Grace!

Grace! Grace!” Grace! Grace! Grace! – Outrageous Grace
