“Paul Rebukes Peter”

“But when Cephas * came to Antioch, * I opposed him to his face, because he had clearly done wrong. * Until * certain people came from James, he had been eating with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he stopped doing this * and separated himself * because he was afraid of those who were pro-circumcision. * And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them * by their hypocrisy.” Gal. 2:11-13

Have you ever visited a church and found the presence of the Lord there and you wanted to engage in worship but refrained because the people you were there with wasn’t into that. Hmmm…🤔. This is what a man pleasing spirit looks like. When your willing to refrain from entering into His presence because the people around you didn’t like the music. Or maybe it wasn’t “their” style of religion. Bottom line you let man’s opinion effect your worship and voluntary humility before God. When you withdraw from fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ because of another man’s religious spirit or even worse, when you withdraw from engaging the presence of God because of the opinion derived from a religious mindset,

You are showing your weakness and willingness to allow yourself to robbed of His glory. Your setting parameters and limitations to your fellowship in Christ, As long as you allow the peer pressure of religious mindsets to regulate your fellowship in Christ, your still in bondage to those mindsets until such a time as you can break free from the religious mindsets of others.🤔

“Am I now trying to gain the approval of people, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ!” Galatians 1:10.

Think about, I’ll get back to you. Pastor Rusty, shepherd of the hills.
