Peace & Comfort

I have been writing on peace the last few days. I feel it is something we need right now in our lives and in our world.

Peace and comfort can be obtained if we learn to lean on Jesus. I don’t mean for this to come off as just a fleeting thought. It is real and it is true, Jesus cares and in Him you can have peace. We do this by placing whatever is weighing heavy on us in His hands. If you ask Him for peace, He will give you peace. The problem that usually pops up is that when we give Jesus our troubles, we will turn right around and pick those troubles right back up. Leave them there. He is a big God, He can handle it. You can have peaceful sleep.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;

For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
