Restoration

"The Lord God formed man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being." Gen. 2:7

When you look at the creation of man you see intelligent design. It's as if God was following his own blue print. Man (male and female) was the last of creation, the crown jewel of creation,

In so much that God said, "Let us make man in our image." Gen 1:26. The word "formed" in verse 2:7 is the Hebrew word yatsar, it implies that God took his hand and squeezed man into shape (distinguished from God simply speaking the word), and then He breathed into man His own breath. It wasn't an after thought, it was His original plan. Sometimes when looking at construction, you can tell when something is an afterthought. It sort of stands out, like an add on. But with God you see everything about man was well thought out and perfectly executed.

When the Lord God was done, he had made something that would host His own breath! This too was not an afterthought, but rather God's original intent, to make something that would house His breath. When the Holy Spirit comes into our lives you are restored for God's original design. Your body is made alive. Rom. 8:11. The Spirit unlocks hidden potential and power. Being restored to God's original intent is being restored in "His image". Being

restored to true stewardship over creation. Mull over these things and I'll get back to ya.
