Mt. Zion "But you have not come to something that can be touched..." Heb. 12:18b
" But you have come to Mt Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, and to the general assembly and church of the first born who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks better than the blood of Abel."
Hebrews 12:18 through 24 gives us a contrast between Mt. Sinai and Mt. Zion. That we have not come to a Mountain of death but we have come to a mountain of life. Mt. Sinai revealed what has been spoken against you, but Mt Zion reveals what has been spoken for you. You can't live on Sinai, but you have been made a citizen of Mt. Zion. Your name is written in heaven. Your are sourounded by myriads of angels. More are they that are on your side than the demons that are against you. The Angels are heavens enforcers. And you are encompassed by the spirits of the righteous made perfect. And you are under the authority of Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords. Who is the mediator of a new and better covenant which is testated by His own blood. You belong to heaven now, so "fear not little flock, it is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." Luke 12:32.
