“Spirit Being vs Fleshly Being”

Daily Word - Feb. 18th, 2019

Position yourself to receive from the Father.

This isn’t hard when you have allowed Him to consume you. I used to make it harder than it is. We think we have to unroll a list of do’s and don’ts and make sure we are up to the mark. It really is a lot simpler than that. When you have given your life to Him you don’t need a list to follow because your heart automatically seeks to please, love, and adore Him.

As humans we make to much fuse over this physical realm. I hate to pop your bubble but this is just a rehersal for what is coming. We have been given this opportunity to be birthed to our parents and be raised up to walk out the plan God has for each of us. Don’t panic about what He might require of you because when you seek Him you won’t care what it is as long as you can have His presences.

“Oh to be like Him” that phrase used to scare the peace right out of me! It always sounded so stoic, ridged, and hard to achieve. It is if you maintain a carnal mind set but if you will lay yourself down at His feet it all melts into nothing but glory. We were made to be spiritual beings. That’s why we have depression, trouble, and strife. That happens when we don’t let our maker be involved in our lives. We were never created to be eternally flesh but eternally spirit. Your flesh can feel like it weighs a ton when you first try to place it on His alter. Once you get it up there on the alter and His fire consumes you your spirit will shine thru and peace will be upon you.

As I mentioned earlier we leave heaven as a spirit being, are formed in our mother’s womb then birthed in this fleshly body to walk out a life before God. We walk either victoriously with the spirit being subject to God, or we walk out a carnal life never achieving His plan for us kicking ever prick along the way. You have been given a chance to position yourself to receive from Him all that He has for your life or you can waste it all. Our spirit doesn’t do well when it’s possibility of achieving victory is lost. All you have to do is open up your heart to Him, Him who? Jesus, let Him design your life. He has your best interest at heart. Even more so than you do.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I want to challenge you. If you haven’t given Jesus your whole heart do so. If you have, but you are still holding on to the control button, let it go. See where He will take you!

...beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise in place of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:3
