Testimony? Give God all glory

I remember being in church services in years past where someone would stand up in what was a testimony service (a time in the service where people get up and share what God has done for them) and rather than give God glory occasionally someone would start out praising God but end up telling how awful things were. I try to watch myself that when I am giving God praise and glory that I don’t end with grumbling and whining to him about when was he going to come thru and answer my prayers. If we do begin to or have grumbled to the Lord we should quickly repent from such. You can have more favor from praising him than begging him. For example:

Thank you Lord that my family is whole and doing good! By faith we speak it out!

Thank you Lord for providing all that I have need of!

Notice when you do this how the atmosphere will change. The scripture says: Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.
