The anointing

“And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.” Exo.30:30

The anointing was mandated for all who functioned in the priestly ministry. Seeing that the kingdom is made up of priest; “and has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests serving his God and Father – to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen.” (Rev 1:6) Therefore it remains that all who are to function as priest in this Kingdom are to also have an anointing. Of all Christian criteria that is talked about in modern Christianity ✝️ the anointing doesn’t seem to be on most Christians top ten mandates, yet we can’t function in the basic, rudiment, obligatory requirements as believers without it. In some circles there are expectations that at least the pastor has an anointing (at least to preach) but the anointing is for all. (1 John 2:27). At least the first century church thought so. And that He (the anointing) would lead you into all truths. Who? The believer. Every believer should function within the framework of the anointing. As the anointing “teaches you about ALL things.” All would include both spiritual and secular. From Kingdom ethics to mathematics. From finance to medical decisions, and all life’s decisions. The anointing creates an all encompassing activity that stems from the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Get filled and get going. But don’t get going until you get filled. (Luke 24:29) Pastor Rusty
