“The cost of following Jesus”

You don’t hear much about taking up your cross and following Jesus now days. It’s not the “in” message to be giving. But Mathew 10:38 says “Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” There is a cost to walking victoriously. There is a cost to having signs and wonders follow you. There is a cost to carrying the ability to set a table of His presence before a congregation. When the desire to have Jesus, and have Him in your life completely, overtakes your desire for other things, you will see the fruit in your life. You will see deliverances take place, you will see the lost give their hearts to him. It is a cost, a cost that sometimes seems greater than you can afford, but can you let it slip by? How bad do you want Him? How much do you hunger for an audience with the Father?

We must make ourselves hungry for Him. Ask God to bring you to a place that you want Him more than anything. If you are not having new and fresh visitations from the Lord, it’s time to start seeking, don’t let your well dry up. He is speaking to his people now, today, and it’s for you if you will just seek Him. Dreams, visions, and fresh prophetic words are coming forth, if you are not receiving any, you need to start seeking Him.

“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.” Isaiah 55:6
