The Foolishness of God

“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men: and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Cor. 1:25

Something I’ve noticed among the prophetic community is that those who will function in a “higher” level of the prophetic have reconciled themselves to the foolishness of God. They have come to realize that what the world deems as foolish has tremendous relevance with the Father and that prophetic demonstrations are part of the package of the Father’s great plan to vale revelation in humility. It is sort of a protective mechanism that prevents the arrogance of the masses (and particular theologians) from partaking in “hidden wisdom”. “God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;” 1 Cor. 1:27. “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God.” 1 Cor. 1:21.

Learning to embrace the foolishness of God will elevate you into heavenly places with Christ Jesus. It will mentally equip you for usability on higher plains where only God gets the glory. (1 Cor. 1:28-31). Think about it and consider if He can’t trust you to act why would He trust you to speak. Let us pray, “Father, teach us to place more value on the foolish things that reveal your nature. Teach us to honor what is deemed as foolish actions, that you may receive greater glory. Love and honor be unto your name, Amen.”
