The Most Important Thing‼️

The most important thing in all of life is that you know you are ready to meet Jesus. It is very simple to do. It doesn’t take a long prayer. It is the most important thing. Here is what the scripture says about it.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9 (KJV)

There are many things in life people chase after—success, money, recognition, comfort, or purpose. Yet the most important thing a person will ever do is so simple: receive Jesus Christ as Lord of their life.

The world often makes salvation sound complicated, but Jesus made the way plain. You do not have to earn His love. You do not have to clean yourself up before coming to Him. You simply come with a willing heart, believing that He is the Son of God and surrendering your life into His hands.

This week I was so blessed to get to lead a young 12 year old boy in that prayer. As he repeated after me, “Jesus, come into my life. Forgive me for all of my sins. Wash me in your blood. Be Lord of my life. In Jesus name. Amen. “ it was so precious! After we finished I said “how do you feel?” And he said he felt “light”. What a simple yet life changing prayer.

Simple does not mean unimportant. In fact, the greatest things God does are often received through childlike faith. A single prayer of surrender can change an eternal destiny. One moment of genuine repentance can open the door to forgiveness, peace, healing, and a brand-new life in Christ.

Jesus stands at the door and knocks. He does not force His way into anyone’s heart. He waits for an invitation.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him…” — Revelation 3:20 (KJV)

Receiving Jesus is more than acknowledging He exists. It is welcoming Him as Savior and Lord. It is saying:

“Jesus, I give You my life. Lead me. Change me. Forgive me. Be Lord over my heart.”

When you receive Him, heaven rejoices, your sins are forgiven, and you become a child of God. What seems so simple carries eternal power!

The most important decision you will ever make is still as simple as opening your heart to Jesus. Don’t chance missing eternity. Take care of your eternity. Some may say that there is no after life, no eternity. Are you sure you want to bank on that? Are you sure that there isn’t? You can’t prove there isn’t, yet there are many testimonies of people who have died and came back telling of all that they saw. I wouldn’t risk it.

Let me pray with you.

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I ask You to forgive me, cleanse me, and come into my life. I surrender my heart to You and receive You as Lord of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
