Fresh honey from the honey comb - Pastor Belinda🌹- May 23, 2024

But Jonathan had not heard that his father had bound the people with the oath, so he reached out the end of the staff that was in his hand and dipped it into the honeycomb. He raised his hand to his mouth, and his eyes brightened. 1 Samuel 14:27

Many times we let religious men set the boundaries for our worship, and our experiences in God. You can only grow as much as those in your spiritual leadership will allow. I heard one person in leadership years back say, “well if that was of God then I would have received it first”. He was only allowing what he could comprehend with his religious mind. So be careful to not place yourself under someone who does not experience, nor do they seek after, the things of God. God is rich with natural and supernatural gifts.

When we entered our dinning hall here at the Sea of Galilee I saw this honey dripping from the honey comb. Oh it was delicious! It brought to mind the story of Johnathan and the honey. Saul had decreed that no one was to eat. Then Johnathan tired in battle, hadn’t heard the decree and he took the honey and his eyes were enlightened! Johnathan found energy and substance from the honey. Other warriors did not have that enlightenment because they heard the decree and were therefore limited under the restrictions set by their King.

Don’t be afraid to dip your spear into the honey and watch your eyes be enlightened! Let your prayer be “more Lord!” Seek Him! Know Him! Experience the things of God.

Blessings from Israel🇭🇳
