What does taking my hands off of it mean?

It happens to us all. We pray about a situation then as humans we start thinking about it and before you know it we are trying to manipulate the situation to being about our desire.

When we “give” something over to God to handle we must leave it in His hands.

I have been guilty of this myself. We pray and then lay awake at night trying to figure out how it can happen. I kind of think that this may be a little bit of our God DNA coming thru. He fixes everything and in our likeness of Him or our DNA from Him it seems to be stamped “try and figure this one out”. We must over come the urge to correct the problem. God is better at fixing things then we are. That’s where faith comes in. When we have done all to stand, stand there for! Not buckle, not cave, not roll over and cry about it, but just stand.

Ephesians 6:13

New Living Translation

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

God has got this. Place it in His hands and then start thanking Him for what He is going to do!
