“When our faith is shaken Part 3”
In Mark 9:21-24 Jesus has come upon a crowd and finds there a man who’s son is possessed by a demon. The disciples had failed at casting out the demon. Jesus begins talking to the father of the boy. 21 “Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 It has often thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you are able to do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’All things are possible for the one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” This father knew he needed help for his sin. He knew Jesus seemed to be the man with the power to set his son free but after seeing the disciples fail at bringing deliverance the father had some doubts. Jesus said “All things are possible for the one who believes!”
I know when I have been in a service where a miracle has just taken place it is very easy for more miracles to take place. When you see God do something it sets your faith up for pure belief! And at that point anything is possible! That’s why it is so important to share with others what God has done for you. When you tell it the faith of those hearing increases opening up the way for more miracles! I have watched this with deaf & mute people. Once God restored hearing and the ability to speak in one then the others just happened so fast! This has happened in services where backs have been healed, blind eyes and the faith that comes from seeing these things can move mountains and demons!
It is important to feed your faith. Read and watch miracles happening. There are some on YouTube that are real and it will build your faith. Feed your faith by thinking on the things God has done for you.
Let me encourage you to pull away from the defeat that is running thru the Christian community right now. God is not defeated! He has a plan!
Speak faith, speak life, raise the faith level in your world!
Like I said Sunday morning during worship that if you aren’t going to dance before the Lord then here, “hold my coat” while I do! Watch as I step up and watch God part the Red Sea!
He can, He will, and He does!
