Who He Is.....

Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Det. 6:12

He has set us free. He has turned our muorning into dancing. Let us not forget WHO He is.

I was saved at the age of 7. I have been a Christian from then until now. I watched people go in and out of fellowship with God. I remember when I was growing up that someone and done something that was bad and reflected bad on Jesus, Christians, and the church. My mother said to us girls as we set at the table in our greyhound bus which we traveled in “never blame God for stuff people do”. She said “ people do things that are not God”. In other words “don’t blame God when we see reproaches caused by people”. Some are quick to blame God for human failures. He is never responsible for what we do. He has given us freedom to do and be what we choose, good or bad. We can be what He wants us to be, or we choose to walk our own walk.

God doesn’t send us to hell, we make that choice ourselves. Remember who He is. He is a good God. A loving father. He wants good things for you!

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Let Him bless you, Give Him your life and he will give you beauty for ashes. He will restore all that has been taken from you!
