“Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou maketh thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?” “If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds ’ tents.” SOS 1:8
This passage is a prophetic statement that will help every lover of Jesus navigate that religious swamp that we often find in Church paradigm. How to get past religious tripe and cultivate a true loving relationship with Jesus. Too many times the beloved ends up simply “turning aside by the flocks of thy companions.” The story of modern Christianity the constant forfeiting of the love relationship with Christ and simply settling for friendship with His companions, wether they be pastors, teachers, prophets, or so on. All the while never feeding at the shepherd’s tent. Jesus is calling you into His great love affair, don’t settle for religion. Religion is the response of those who dwell in the outer courts.🤔
“Father, take us into the inner courts. Cultivate by your Holy Spirit a love affair with your bride. Help us cut our worldly ties that prevent us from drifting into your sea of love. Cause our love to passionately burn within us❤️🔥! Amen!”
