Perverting Justice

“You shall not follow the crowd in wrongdoing. When you testify in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd.” Exo. 23:2 BSB

Under the Law of YHWH, it was abominable to pervert justice. “You shall not deny justice to the poor in their lawsuits. Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent or the just, for I will not acquit the guilty.” Exo. 23:6-7.

There has been a lot of talk surrounding the Lindsay Clancy trial. We as a people, as a culture, and as a nation has moved into a mire of cause and effect to pervert justice to support a narrative, a narrative that has aligned itself with “doctrines of devils” and twisted logic.🤔

“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” 1 Tim. 4:1.

There will come a time when our actions outweigh our reasons, we WILL be held into account for what we have done… not the twisted excuse why we did it.🤔

“But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each one according to his deeds.” to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.” Rom. 2:5-8

Like Paul, I concede these must be the last days!

“You can be certain that in the last days there will be some very hard times. People will love only themselves and money. They will be proud, stuck-up, rude, and disobedient to their parents. They will also be ungrateful, godless, heartless and hateful. Their words will be cruel, and they will have no self-control or pity. These people will hate everything good. They will be sneaky, reckless, and puffed up with pride. Instead of loving God, they will love pleasure. Even though they will make a show of being religious, their religion won't be real. Don't have anything to do with such people.” 2 Tim. 3:1-5.

Can any nation survive who perverts justice and then rejoices in its’ perversion… without a doubt we are fighting for the soul of this nation. Be bold, get loud, be of good courage, have not I commanded you to fear not!

If keeping the peace means that I have to remain silent while you say stupid things… don’t expect there to be peace! - Pastor Rusty
