20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: Matthew 9:20
Saturday night I had a vision of the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. I was right there watching her crawl trying to reach him in a crowd of people pressing in on him. We have experienced that pressing that pushing in the mission field one time. People were wanting bibles we had to give away. They pressed us up against a wall until we could not move. It is hard to move at all in that situation, so she had to be so desperate to touch him. I imagine she had seen others be miraculously healed and she knew that if she could just be able to touch the very bottom of his clothing, she too could be healed.
As I watched her reach for him I heard him say to me,” Tell them to reach for me one more time! Then he repeated it, “ Tell them to reach for me, one more time!” It is those who press in that find Him! It’s those who go after Him, who knock, who seek, who ask Him that receive the answer! God says “touch me one more time! Reach one more time!”
I encourage you to press in! Don’t be satisfied with religion when you can have fellowship with the King of Kings! Your walk with God is a relationship, growing and moving forward. If your stuck in one place talk to your pastor. There may be a reason your not moving forward. Search your heart, ask the Father to show you what is blocking your communication with Him. God is calling us into deeper water! There is so much more! Don’t hold back! Jump in and give it all to Jesus!
