7 “But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.”John 16:7
The “Helper”, the Holy Spirit, is here to comfort and help you. You need the Holy Spirit. As we walk people thru deliverance I find that the Holy Spirit brings so much help to the process. As I am doing a deliverance for someone, I will ask the Holy Spirit to search the person. I ask Him to bring anything demonic to the front so I don’t miss anything. It’s “co-laboring” with the helper that Jesus sent to us. When I request help from the Holy Spirit, he comes and He helps. It is important for the person being delivered to stay FULL of the Holy Spirit! You don’t want any room left for demons to come back in.
I want you to pray with me. I want you to ask the Holy Spirit to search you. Ask Him to show you any areas that you need to deal with. It can be anything from habits, conduct, lack of total surrender, to sin. He will help you come into a place of purity before God. Let’s pray, “Jesus, I ask you to wash me clean. Remove anything in me that hinders my spiritual growth. Release the Holy Spirit to go thru my heart, mind, and body and point out what needs to be removed. In Jesus name I pray, amen!”
As you move closer to the Lord trust the Holy Spirit. Listen to Him. Be obedient to what He says. God bless and message me if you need special add l prayer.
