Matthew 10:8-10 King James Version (KJV) 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
So many times we hide from areas that God would love to move us into, not just salvation, though that is most important in my view, then healing, raising the dead, and casting out devils.
Many times we call for the sick to come forward for prayer and all the time we are fighting the spirit of unbelief. Unbelief will tell you “why pray, you know they aren’t going to get healed” but Satan is a liar and unbelief is his weapon of choice! It takes stepping out in faith.
The first part of the faith activation is the minister having enough faith, or guts to ask for the sick to come forward.
The second part of faith is when the sick person actually decides to respond and begins moving down the isle to the front.
The third is asking in faith believing for healing to come. Whether it is faith for healing of a sickness or a creative miracle, it is still an engagement of faith that will move the mountain. We engage the Jesus factor as we pray in His name! Nothing can stand in the way when Jesus is in the house!
Casting out demons falls in this area as well. It is the power of Jesus that can make a demonic spirit vacate a person. They cannot remain when Jesus says “get out!”
The fourth part of the process is the activation by faith to do whatever it was that you could not do before the prayer. If you could not breathe, then take a deep breath. If you could not walk, then try to walk. It is the action of stepping out in faith that brings miracles and healing! When a person begins to try to do what they could not is generally when the miracle will actually manifest in the physical.
God is a healer! God is a miracle worker! He is just waiting for you to ask! Step out by faith and watch God meet you there!
