“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16

This is a classic word of God for all who are willing to deal in deliverance. The word “confess” here is translated from the Greek word Exomologeo, which means to “openly declare without reservation (no holding back).” I know this is a bold statement considering the present state of Christianity… but if you are wanting results in getting free from long-standing sin or demonic activity this is your ice breaker. You can say it’s not necessary and that counseling and understanding will suffice, but when your tired of circling the mountain time and again without breakthrough you will find that the word of God is true and every man is a liar. (Rom. 3:4).🧐 I have found that Exolomogeo is like sticking your fingers down the throat to induce vomiting. You don’t want to but immediately after you do you feel immediately better. It is the act of expulsion of that vile thing that has you in its’ grip. When you confess it out loud that thing that has you in its’ holt becomes extremely vulnerable and can now be properly addressed without guess work… in JESUS NAME!. You are now “fully agreeing” with the Holy Spirit removing deception from the equation. It is the matter of coming clean the breaks the foothold of the enemy.

Second, PRAY! The prayer of faith will save the sick… oppressed, bound, and vexed. The word “save” in this passage is the Greek word Sozo, which means to be healed, saved, delivered and set free! Hallelujah! Let us pray.

“Heavenly Father, I speak Shalom into the body of those afflicted and deliverance from every unclean spirit. Be loosed from your captivity in Jesus name! Amen!” Pastor Rusty
