Speaking the language

“And half of their children spoke the language of Ashdod, and they could not speak the language of Judah, but only the language of each people.” Neh. 13:24

It seems every move of God tends to create its own language. Euphemisms and expressions that are created to give definition to the activity of the Holy Spirit that surrounds the participants. In the above passage Nehemiah was upset that upon returning to the remnant of Jerusalem he found children among the Jews that could not speak the language of Judah.🤔 The term “Judah” in Hebrew means praise… so in essence they could not speak the language of praise.🤔 so I thought I would offer a dictionary of some of the expressions that have been floating around the prayer culture in this season. This is not a comprehensive work it’s just a few explanations for clarity.🧐

Prophetic swirl…(This is pure prime Chuck) This describes the activity of the Holy Spirit when multiple participants are seamlessly on the same page with the Holy Spirit with prophetic release. The unity in these “swirls” seams to compound the impact of the anointing.

Severely wacked… (Colloquial) This describes when getting whacked in the Holy Spirit is “severe.”

Hoodooed… Refer to the above definition.

Crab Walk… After a severe encounter with the Holy Spirit you find it difficult to return to your seat. But tend to walk sideways.🦀

Carpet time… (Old School) Longtime term that defines when the Holy Spirit puts you on the floor. (And sometimes rubs your nose in it).

Being kissed by God… A term that defines manifest favor.

Moving with the cloud… Following the lead of Hispresence.

Winepress… This is when the vertical action of Heaven creates a linear action from its recipients. This action and subsequent reaction causes a release of the intoxicating power of the Holy Spirit. (I call it pressing grapes 🍇) Hence the winepress. Many of our gatherings are experiencing this activity.
