“He has made everything appropriate in its time…”

— Ecclesiastes 3:11a (NASB)

There is a divine rhythm to God’s work in our lives, a timing that often challenges our patience but always proves His wisdom. While we wait, we may wonder if He has forgotten us, but Scripture assures us that God is never late—He is always on time. I am sure many of you have experienced this. So many times I have asked God to help and the answer always comes, but in His time.

Abraham waited decades for the promise of a son. Joseph spent years in a prison cell before his promotion. Even Jesus waited 30 years before beginning His public ministry. In each case, God was preparing the person, the circumstances, and the outcome to align perfectly with His purpose. Not our purpose or what we thought, but His purpose.

What feels like a delay may actually be God’s divine setup. He’s working behind the scenes in ways we cannot yet see. The waiting is not wasted—it’s shaping us, growing our faith, and drawing us closer to Him.

Trust that God’s timing is not just good; it’s perfect!Surrender your schedule, your worries, and your plans. His timing may be avoiding a bad situation. Rest in the truth that the Author of time is never rushed and never slow. He is always right on time. I know that can be hard to do but He knows all things not just somethings like us.

“Lord, help us to trust in Your timing. When we feel anxious or forgotten, remind us that You are never late. Strengthen our faith to wait patiently and confidently, knowing You are working all things together for our good. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Remember, His timing is perfect.
