“Joshua set up twelve † stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.” Jos. 4:9

When the Children of Israel finally crossed Jordan. God caused the waters of the river to stand on end as the Children of Israel crossed. Then, afterwards Joshua had twelve men from each tribe of Israel to reenter the river bed and choose twelve stones from where the priest stood with the ark, and place them as a memorial where they camped that night… but then Joshua placed twelve stones back in the riverbed as a memorial of what God did at the river Jordan. What’s interesting is that this hidden memorial would be underwater the raining of days, simply known that they are there to this day.🤔

Not every encounter, download, vision, or experience is meant to be seen, sometimes they are meant for your digestion. It’s not in your best interest to broadcast every prayer time or encounter you are having with God. That way what is being done in secret is allowed to be manifest other ways.

“That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly..” Matt. 6:18

The phrase “thy Father which sees in secret shall reward thee openly”, is repeated three times in Mathew chapter six. To many times we seek recognition in an arena where recognition by man is not your friend. Jesus says when we function religiously to be seen by men we have our reward. But you are forfeiting the reward of the Father.🤔 Seeking heaven’s reward requires discipline on the part of the believer but the reward from heaven far outward the accolades of man. Let your life be hidden with Christ in God. Let things remain under the canopy of his love. Somethings are meant to be between you and Him.😔❤️
