“1When Jesus came down from the mountain, large did crowds followed Him. 2Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

3Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Matt. 8:1-3

I love this story. I believe it deals with one of the biggest obstacles that modern Christendom still deals with today. Most professing Christian’s concede that God can but most Christians struggle with if It is His will. They wrap their unbelief in the religious wrapper of if it’s God’s will.🤔 The leper confronts Jesus with the concept “If you are willing…. You can!” Like most Christians he believed that He could… if He was “willing”. 🤔 Jesus was quick to respond (revealing the Father’s heart) “I am willing”. Struggling with whether basic acts of mercy are God’s will or not, has handicapped the church for ages. But Jesus answers this question once and for all with two words…”I will!” Yes “little flock, it’s your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom!” Feel the Father’s heart in this season. “I will, be thou clean.” Matt. 8:3 KJV.
