Stuart Hamblen wrote "It Is No Secret" in 1951, after a conversation with the actor, John Wayne. And that became the title of a popular gospel song that Hamblen went on to write!
Seems Stuart was a popular disc-jockey in the Los Angeles region but he gave his heart to Jesus and everything about him changed! He was at a party with some very well-known people, yet he refused to drink alcohol! Evidently, that was so unusual that John Wayne said to him, "It is no secret what God has done in your life, Stuart."
Stuart sat down that night and wrote, the song:
"It is no secret what God can do,
What He's done for others, He'll do for you
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you,
It is no secret, what God can do!" (Chorus)
What about you? Does the world know the change your God has made in your life? Would you ever be accused of being a "Christian?"
There is so much more to your impact on others; on your world! God's not looking for nice, "Sunday School attenders" who will just "do" the "right things!"
No! He is looking for those who have come to know Him so intimately that their lives are a reflection of the real Life of Christ! Not just being "good" to others, but truly bringing His Love, Power and Authority into every situation‼️
The Apostle Paul wrote to the Church he helped establish in Ephesus, "I pray that He (Jesus Christ) would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His divine might and explosive power." (Eph.3:16)
Paul continued, "Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His love will become the very source and root of your life." (Eph.3:17)
That's who Holy Spirit wants to empower us to be! And as we live out a life of His Faith, there's even more! More Love and Passion changing us and giving us more of His love and compassion for others!
"How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!” (Eph.3:19 TPT)
Yes! His (and ours) is an Extravagant Love being poured into and out of YOU‼️ Nothing we can do of ourselves, but it's all of Him and we are simply carriers of His Love and Grace❣️
Can others say of you, "It is no secret what God is doing in you?" Then--we can "change our world!" And Christ will be known outside the four-walls of a building❣️#sheliahartartt
