Jars of Clay

- Pastor Rusty - Sept. 26, 2023

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” 1 Cor. 4:7

We are allowed to host God’s glory in these “jars of clay.” Whatever God reveals to the rest of the world concerning His glory is subject to be filtered through these earthen vessels. Much of our “ministry” to others is done by His Spirit being subject to being filtered through these earthen vessels. Sometimes this filtering picks up more of our debris of human emotion in the pot than it should. The more transparent we become, the more visible His glory.🤔 Ask yourself this, 🤔 when your at a restaurant do you prefer drinking from a glass or from a paper cup?🧐 When you value the contents of the cup, more than the aesthetics of the cup, you will desire transperancy. “Father whatever it takes make us transparent, that your glory may be revealed. In Jesus name, Amen!” —-Pastor Rusty
