It’s time in His presence that we yearn for. It is written in every cell of our body. We are His creation. No matter how much you believe that this mortal body is “it”, it is not. It is a temporary shell only given to us to carry out what God has planned for us to do here on earth. It’s what comes after this body breathes its last that our real life begins. Our eternal soul takes flight! We then begin eternity, forever, and ever! We are in His holy presence!
We take the passing of our loved ones so hard. As a Christian, it’s stepping over into our heavenly home! We are in the presence of our Father God, our Lord Jesus, and all those who have gone on before us. What a wonderful time! Forever! So, cry as you miss those who are not here to hug. It’s good to release those tears, but remember, it is not final. We will be reunited with our loved ones again! I have cried many tears over the passing of my mom this past Dec.26. I miss her dearly, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I will again look into her eyes and hug her close. See death is not final when you have Jesus as Lord of your life. It is just the beginning!
1 Thessalonians 4:17: “then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So, we will be with the Lord forever”.
