Persistent prayer is not about persuading God to act—it is about positioning our hearts to receive what He is already longing to give. Every moment spent in His presence softens our hearts, sharpens our spiritual hearing, and deepens our dependence upon Him. Prayer transforms the one who prays before it changes the circumstances being prayed about.

Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV) says, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God promises that wholehearted seekers will find Him. His greatest gift is not merely answered prayers, but His presence. Once you have experienced the presence of the Lord anything less just doesn't satisfy the spirit man! God's presence brings completeness.

In Acts 4:31 (KJV), after the believers prayed together, “the place was shaken where they were assembled together… and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.” Their persistent, united prayer positioned them for a fresh infilling of God’s Spirit and boldness to fulfill His purpose.

God showed up! Wow! 💥I would have loved to be in that meeting!

Prayer doesn’t convince God to come; it aligns us with Him. As we continually seek His face, our desires begin to reflect His will, our faith grows stronger, and His presence becomes more real in our daily lives. You want His presence in your life daily.

Let's pray;

Father, teach me to seek You with all my heart. Let prayer become more than a routine—let it be the place where my heart is aligned with Yours. Fill me afresh with Your Spirit and help me walk where Your presence will abide with me. May I walk in a manner that the dove of the Holy Spirit will stay on my shoulder.
