It is releasing Jesus into a situation that will bring transformation. Transforming from dark to light. Transforming from the old man to the new! It’s Jesus that brings freedom to those that ask!
We were in Mexico several years ago and at a service Pastor Hector had me greet the crowd of about 1,000 the Lord gave me a word. He said “ All you have to do is release me on the crowd”. I saw a vision of my right arm swirling in a circle, as I then straightened it out and power went out like wind on the crowd. I replied to the Lord “I can do that”. So when Pastor Hector handed me the mic and he translated for me, I released Jesus. He can save, He can heal, and He can deliver you from demonic possession, depression, and oppression! These are words of life to someone bound in darkness! There is hope! There is a God who has the power to break what has you bound! I see this in the Sozo sessions we hold. It is God! Darkness has to flee when Jesus is in the house! Deliverance is such a beautiful thing!
I had a dream several years ago that I was in a place and someone brought a child to me that was bound by demons. In my dream I laid my hands on the child’s stomach and rebuked the demons off of them. Then several years after that on a Sunday morning we were on the camp in Reynosa. Right before church started Pastor Hector brought a couple with their little girl to me. They were immigrants from Haiti. He said “they want you to pray for the child. A demon manifested on her chest last night after service. When it happened the mother laid her hands on her and pleaded the blood of Jesus over her! They want to make sure she is free.” The main religion in Haiti is Voodoo, so yeah the mother and father knew what it was that balled up on their daughters chest. We have seen this manifestation many times. As the demon spirit is coming out it will be visible a lot of times as a baseball sized knot moving around under the skin. Then as it is evicted it will travel up the neck and out of the mouth usually as a breeze of air but sometimes puke and sometimes objects. One time there was a person that spit up what looked like a pigs tusk or tooth.
I laid my hands on her little stomach and addressed anything that might still be there. After a few minutes it was obvious the mother had been successful in her prayer and nothing remained. We prayed a covering over her and dealt with any demonic assignments on the child.
I am telling you this to make a point. God will train you and prepare you for what is ahead if you will let Him. He had prepared me how to handle this several years before. God wants you to be successful in what He has for you to do. When He shows you something, take note. I could have discarded my dream and lost what knowledge I gained from it and I would not have known how to help this couple and their little girl. They brought their daughter with a demonic problem to me not because of who I am, but because of the Jesus I released on them. It’s all about Him, it’s all God.
In Matthew 17:14-20 we see Jesus delivering a boy from demons.
When the disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast it out the Lord said that these come out by fasting and prayer. You don’t wait until you are faced with a situation to get ready for a situation, you plan ahead. Whatever God has spoken over you get ready for it, train yourself before you are faced with it and do not succeed.
Matthew 17:14-20
14 When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, falling on his knees before Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers terribly; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 And I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him.” 17 And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was healed at once.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 And He *said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Listen to the Lord. He will teach you if you will listen.
