“To grant to those who mourn in Zion—

to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,

the oil of gladness instead of mourning,

the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;

that they may be called oaks of righteousness.” Isaiah 61:3

This word keeps coming back to me. Isaiah 61, is a prophetic word for this year. The Lord seems to be kissing every part of this passage. Vs. 3 says God has three distinct responses for three distinct dilemmas the inhabitants of Zion face. What are these three dilemmas you might ask.🤔 They are ashes (the aftermath of destruction), mourning, and a heavy (faint) spirit. In response He is crowning you with beauty, pouring out the oil of gladness, and placing on you a garment of Praise! For each of these dilemmas God has a specific countermeasure. It is like specific medicine for a specific problem. No one but God is able to cause a rose to grow out of a soul crushing situation. As Joseph said, “You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.” (Gen. 50:20) Only God can take a subtraction and turn it into an addition. Two, He is pouring out a very SPECIFIC Oil in this season, the Oil of Gladness. The Lord, the Holy One of Israel, is causing the Oil of Gladness to come on the bride in this season. He is healing her of all types of mental anguish, anxiety, and dysphoria. (Including unbelief). Watch how He does this… by pouring out the Oil of Gladness. He is placing a premium on adopting the Spirit of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

“Holy Father, pour out the oil in this season and heal what is within as well as what is without! Cause the spirit of heaviness to leave your bride… in Jesus Name! Amen!”
