The Healing Pool of Bethesda 🔥-

“1After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.” John 5:1-4 NKJV

Some modern translations “omit” verse four of this text, which gives explanation as to why so many sick, infirm, and impotent folks were assembled at the pool of Bethesda. I find these omissions disingenuous and reckless. Without verse four no explanation is offered as to why the sick and the lame were gathered. Once again pseudo scholars love to exchange supernatural workings of God for a kingdom of powerless reasoning. The contrast that someone greater💥than the healing angel was on the scene is lost in translations that omit verse four.🤔 In Catholic tradition it is said that the healing angel Raphael, (God the healer) was responsible for the stirring of the water.

The pool of Bethesda was recently found and excavated in Jerusalem and can now be seen when visiting Israel. We’ve been to this “pool” on a couple occasions. It is a very large area, and I believe it is a prophetic statement that God is releasing and restoring healing as a ministry of the body of Christ. On our last visit to this site the Holy Spirit said, “I’m opening again and restoring the pool of Bethesda.”

I believe the Lord is restoring a version of the pool of Bethesda in Branson Mo. 🤔 Branson will become a “Hub of healing” for the nation. If you ask what that will look like, it will be shapeless at times, with “everything, everywhere, all at once” kinda thing. People are going to come to this region because a portal of healing is opening up over this region. Branson is built to host the nations and there is an open heaven, geographical portal, with angelic visitation over the region. There is a prayer network in Branson, feeding into and being fed from this open heaven… And it’s going to get bigger.🧐 In Jesus name….Amen! Pastor Rusty
